Photo and Redox Dual Responsive Reversibly Cross-Linked Nanocarrier for Efficient Tumor-Targeted Drug Delivery
To develop a feasible and efficient nanocarrier for potential clinical application, a series of photo and redox dual responsive reversibly cross-linked micelles have been developed for the targeted anticancer drug delivery. The nanocarrier can be cross-linked efficiently via a clean, efficient, and controllable coumarin photodimerization within the nanocarrier, which simplify the formulation pr...
متن کاملCombination dual responsive polypeptide vectors for enhanced gene delivery.
Variation in amino acid sequences on a disulfide-linked polypeptide backbone generates differing pK(a) vectors for DNA delivery, which release nucleic acids under reducing conditions and transfect cells with greater efficacy than non-reducible or non-variable pK(a) analogues.
متن کاملStimuli-responsive Hydrogel for Drug Delivery
Introduction Hydrogels have been extensively investigated as drug delivery carriers in biomedical applications. The stimuli-responsive hydrogel is generally created when an ionic monomer is incorporated into the hydrogel network, in which the charged group is formed and called fixed charge since its mobility is much less than that of freely mobile ions within the interstitial fluid. In this stud...
متن کاملDual stimuli-responsive multi-drug delivery system for the individually controlled release of anti-cancer drugs.
A dual stimuli-responsive multi-drug delivery system was developed for "cancer cocktail therapy". Upon UV irradiation, microcapsules could rapidly release the small-molecule drugs, and thereafter the macromolecular drugs would be released in the presence of MMP in the tumor cells. This system will find great potential as a novel chemotherapeutic combination for cancer treatment.
متن کاملDoxorubicin loaded dual pH- and thermo-responsive magnetic nanocarrier for combined magnetic hyperthermia and targeted controlled drug delivery applications.
Magnetic nanocarriers have attracted increasing attention for multimodal cancer therapy due to the possibility to deliver heat and drugs locally. The present study reports the development of magnetic nanocomposites (MNCs) made of an iron oxide core and a pH- and thermo-responsive polymer shell, that can be used as both hyperthermic agent and drug carrier. The conjugation of anticancer drug doxo...
